چکیده

The flow instability of a double-blade centrifugal pump is more serious due to its special design feature with two blades and large passages. dynamic instabilities pressure pulsations can affect the performance operating lifetime. In present study, numerical investigation unsteady time variation within complete was carried out. domain frequency were extracted at 16 monitoring locations covering important regions analyze internal model. spectra decomposed into Strouhal number dependent functions. This led conclusion that blade passing (BPF) related vibrations are exclusively flow-induced. Large vortices observed in passages low rate. It noted high vorticity magnitude occurred vicinities trailing edge tongue volute, rotor-stator interaction between impeller volute.
